Tassimo entered the market in 2004 with a capsule-based brewing system designed to simplify the preparation of hot beverages at home. Initially operated under Kraft Foods, the brand later became part of Mondelez International before moving under Jacobs Douwe Egberts. While early Tassimo machines were manufactured by Braun and Saeco, Bosch has produced all Tassimo appliances since 2008.
Each T Disc uses a barcode system that communicates brewing instructions to the machine — including water amount, temperature, brewing time, and extraction intensity. This automated process quickly earned Tassimo a reputation for consistency, convenience, and reliability.

2004–2009
The first Tassimo logo introduced a warm and inviting identity. Golden tones and soft gradients created a “liquid” effect that resembled a freshly poured drink. The rounded lettering reinforced a friendly, approachable feel. The letter T appeared inside a circular shape that resembled a top-down view of a cup, visually tying the logo to hot beverages.
2009–2013
The brand shifted to a completely different concept in 2009, emphasizing variety and flavor diversity. The centerpiece became a multi-colored flower consisting of overlapping petals — each representing a different taste experience. This vibrant icon replaced the earlier “T-cup” emblem.
The wordmark also evolved. The rounded a was redesigned to echo the shape of the T Disc, while other letters combined soft edges with sharp points. The logo became more modern, energetic, and expressive.
2013–2016
A lighter and softer palette was introduced in 2013. Some flower petals became brighter, while others transitioned to new colors, such as the shift from brown to magenta. The wordmark changed from black to gray, making the entire logo feel fresher and less heavy.
2016–Today
The current Tassimo logo highlights warmth, accessibility, and playfulness. The multi-petal icon remains central, symbolizing the wide assortment of flavors offered by the brand. Its circular structure also mirrors the shape of a T Disc.
The accompanying wordmark uses clean lines and a simple geometric style. The distinctive A, designed with an arched crossbar, adds personality and echoes the pointed corner found on T Discs. The bright colors of the emblem paired with black typography create a friendly, shelf-ready identity that stands out immediately.
Font and Color
The Tassimo logotype uses a bold, rounded sans-serif typeface. The most notable detail is the custom A, which features a curved crossbar resembling a soft smile. While not identical, fonts such as Oblivian Medium or Brushability Sans Semi Bold give a similar impression, though they lack the modified structure of the Tassimo A.

The color palette is lively and diverse, featuring shades of red, pink, purple, green, orange, and light blue.
